What began as a bold, grassroots fashion statement on the steps of Fairmont Pittsburgh has evolved into one of the city’s most anticipated cultural events. From its earliest moments, to the artistic backdrop of the Carnegie Museum of Art, and now to the grandeur of Heinz Hall, Ecolution has grown into a defining celebration of creativity, sustainability, and Pittsburgh’s artistic spirit.

On April 20, 2026, Ecolution returns for its 11th year with POP COUTURE: Fashion, Fame & Obsession - a visually striking, high-energy dance-theatre production that dives into the powerful intersection of fashion, celebrity, and identity. Timed just days before the NFL Draft brings national attention to the city, the show offers a cultural experience that captures Pittsburgh’s creative edge.

The event powerfully showcases Pittsburgh’s local creative talent, featuring more than 20 designers presenting bold and imaginative crafted looks, live performances by local musicians, and a dynamic ensemble of dancers and artists who bring the production to life.

Blending electrifying choreography, live music inspired by the energy of the 1960s, and couture-driven design, Pop Couture tells a story of a generation captivated by image and influence. It’s a world where fashion becomes performance, fame becomes currency, and self-expression comes at a cost.

The production also features an incredible live band, highlighted by vocalist Scott Blasey, known for his dynamic performances and powerful stage presence, adding depth and star power to the experience.
