The Very First AND Longest Running Chicago Tribute Band In The World is Making A Tour Stop at The Palace Theatre September 24th
There are a lot of bands doing a tribute to the band Chicago, but back in the early 90s, when Powerhouse decided to put together their Chicago Transit tribute act, they were the first in the world to do so. And they remain “The First and Longest Running Chicago Tribute Band in the World” and the only one to carry five lead vocalists, just as the band Chicago does.
Chicago Transit’s Chicago Tribute Show will come to The Palace Theatre Thursday, September 24th, 2026 at 7:30pm. You can even sing and dance along if you’d like. Tickets are just $35., $44., $49., and $75. and can be purchased online at: www.westmorelandculturaltrust.org or by calling the ticket office at (724) 836-8000. The Palace Theatre is located at 21 W. Otterman, Greensburg, PA 15601. This show is presented by Latshaw Productions.
The bands’ 5 lead singers, the 3-piece horn section and the 5-piece rhythm section, made this show a natural for the band, even getting credit from the band Chicago themselves, back in the 90s.
With the band’s three piece horn section, five piece rhythm section and five lead vocalists is able to cover all the Chicago material from the early horn-dominant classics like ‘Make Me Smile’, ’25 or 6 to 4’ and ‘Saturday in the Park’ to the later, softer, keyboard-oriented ballads like ‘If You Leave Me Now’. If you like Chicago, you’ll love Chicago Transit!
