PA Turnpike Move Over Law & National Move Over Day
The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission will host National Move Over Day events from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at five PA Turnpike service plazas across Pennsylvania. The events will help drivers learn about Pennsylvania's Move Over Law and the importance of slowing down and moving over for emergency responders, roadside workers and disabled motorists.
Stop by to meet the people who help keep Pennsylvania’s roadways safe, see emergency response and PA Turnpike vehicles and equipment up close, take the Safe Driving Pledge and participate in safety activities. Educational materials and family-friendly giveaways will also be available while supplies last. Vehicles, activities and participating partners may vary by location.
