Hay Day
Join Allegheny County Special Events for an afternoon of fun at the annual Hay Day festivals happening on Saturday September 19, 2026, at Hartwood Acres Park and Saturday September 26, 2026, at South Park from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Hay Day events are free and fun for all ages. There will be food, snacks, and drinks available for purchase from local food vendors.
Activities and entertainment include:
- Inflatables
- Petting zoo
- Face painting
- Hay Rides
- Pig Races
- Arts and crafts presented by the YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh
- Pittsburgh RiverHounds SC with soccer darts and prizes
- Puppet Show from Pittsburgh Puppet Works
- Live performances from School of Rock and Pittsburgh Musical Theater
- Demonstrations from local attractions, including Pittsburgh Zoo and Aquarium, Pittsburgh Children's Museum, Kamin Science Center, and much more!
