Eddie 9V
On Down Here, Atlanta-born singer and guitarist Eddie 9V steps into a fresh chapter of soul-blues, with the album’s 12 tracks shaped in sessions led by Dan Auerbach. Born Brooks Mason, he started playing Atlanta blues clubs as a teenager and built his sound around expressive guitar and vintage soul influences. His albums Little Black Flies and Capricorn helped establish his roots in blues, while Saratoga broadened his palette. He also wrote, produced and played every instrument on his 2019 debut, Left My Soul in Memphis.
