Dance Africa Pittsburgh 2026 Community Festival
Dance Africa Pittsburgh is an annual celebration of African and African Diaspora arts, culture, and community presented by the The Legacy Arts Project. Inspired by the legacy of Baba Chuck Davis and his message of “Peace, Love, and Respect for Everybody,” the festival brings together local, regional, national, and international artists for a vibrant showcase of dance, drumming, music, spoken word, visual art, fashion, and cultural traditions.
Through performances, workshops, community engagement, and an African Marketplace, Dance Africa Pittsburgh celebrates the richness and diversity of African heritage while fostering cultural understanding, artistic excellence, and community connection. The festival serves as a gathering place where people of all backgrounds can experience, honor, and engage with the living traditions of the African Diaspora.
