All Saints’ Day: A Service of Remembrance at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral

Some lives leave an imprint that never fades. Some names deserve to be spoken again.

On Sunday, November 1, Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in downtown Pittsburgh invites the community to gather for a meaningful All Saints’ Day service honoring the people we have loved and lost.

Through sacred music, prayer, and shared remembrance, this special service offers a space to reflect on the lives that have shaped us, the love that remains, and the connections that endure beyond death. The service will feature music from Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem, bringing an added depth of beauty and reflection to this centuries-old Christian tradition.

Everyone is invited to take part in the remembrance. Members of the public are welcome to submit the name and photograph of a loved one who has passed away to be included in a special remembrance during the service. You do not need to be a member of Trinity, or even a regular churchgoer, to honor someone you love.

Whether your loss is recent or many years past, there is something powerful about remembering together. In the beauty of Pittsburgh’s historic Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, find a moment of peace, connection, and hope among neighbors who understand that every life has a story worth remembering.
