VisitPITTSBURGH Launches Offbeat Pittsburgh Promotion
Uncover the weird, quirky and downright spooky experiences in Pittsburgh with the new digital savings pass
PITTSBURGH – VisitPITTSBURGH today launched its new Offbeat Pittsburgh promotion to help visitors explore some of the city’s most unique experiences this upcoming spooky season.
The digital savings pass powered by Bandwango will be available through November 20, unlocking discounts and promotions at participating attractions and businesses around the city, from beer brought back from the dead and metaphysical shops to hair-raising performances and Halloween celebrations.
“We’re seeing more and more travelers seek outside-the-box experiences, and that’s exactly what we wanted to bring to life with our Offbeat Pittsburgh promotion,” said President & CEO Jerad Bachar. “This promotion is designed to get folks off the beaten path and encourages them to explore all of the seasonal, spooky and spinetingling experiences Pittsburgh has to offer this fall.”
The promotion is designed to attract out-of-state visitors to the Pittsburgh area, as well as encourage residents to explore new local offerings. Advertising efforts will have a largely digital focus with social promotions integrated throughout, targeting key drive markets, including Baltimore, Buffalo, Cleveland, Columbus, Erie, Harrisburg, Johnston/Altoona, Morgantown, New York, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C.
