About SportsPITTSBURGH’s Volunteer Database
The Pittsburgh community has access to more than 10,000 enthusiastic and knowledgeable volunteers for your next sporting event. This database has been compiled from local partners, colleges and universities, as well as volunteers from previously hosted events in Pittsburgh. A full-time staff member will utilize the TRS volunteer management system for the recruitment, scheduling, communication, training and overall management of the volunteer program. SportsPITTSBURGH will work closely with the event organization to ensure that all operational areas are covered with the necessary staffing. Examples of volunteer positions include:
