Trans-Siberian Orchestra
Trans-Siberian Orchestra is a symphonic rock ensemble formed in 1996 by composer and producer Paul O’Neill, known for combining heavy-metal intensity, classical arrangements and theatrical holiday storytelling. The group’s debut album, Christmas Eve and Other Stories, introduced its signature recording “Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24” and launched a Christmas trilogy that also includes The Christmas Attic and The Lost Christmas Eve. Other recognizable works include “Christmas Canon,” “Wizards in Winter” and “Mad Russian’s Christmas.” TSO’s concert productions are associated with narrative staging, orchestral textures and large-scale lighting and visual effects.
