Prior to your event, we prepare key members of our community such as public safety officials, transportation providers and restauranteurs for your group's arrival. Preparations may include a planning bulletin and/or pre-convention meeting.
Welcome signs will greet your attendees at the Pittsburgh International Airport and throughout the city. Upon request, we would be happy to obtain personalized welcome letters from Public Officials for your event program.
Should you require public relations assistance, we would be happy to call upon our Communications Department, who may be able to assist with press releases, news conference coordination and media kits. They can also provide editorial content about Pittsburgh for your website.

Lanyon Passkey, is the recognized leader in group reservations and is currently used by approximately 90% of the major US and UK Convention & Visitors Bureaus.
We have resources available to assist you with recruiting local volunteers. We can simply eblast our database with volunteer opportunities for your event, or help build a volunteer registration website for you.

We are pleased to offer uniformed registration staff for conventions, meetings and events. Personnel are qualified to perform as data entry registrars, cashiers, supervisors and also as greeters and room monitors. Staff is also qualified to perform as information table representatives. Personnel are bonded and insured.
Delegates are able to explore their dining and sightseeing options at the staffed VisitPITTSBURGH Welcome Booth at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. Here your attendees will find access to maps, restaurant menus, additional collateral and our PLAY publication.
Your attendees can take advantage of VisitPITTSBURGH'sCoupon Booklet, a collection of restaurants, retailers and attractions that have offered discounts to visitors.
This on-site service is available on a complimentary basis to conventions with 1,000 or more delegates. The Welcome Booth can also be available to groups with fewer than 1,000 attendees for a nominal fee.
