Read to Dream Experience
Our April Read to Dream Experience will focus on understanding our big emotions. When kids understand and regulate their emotions, they put themselves on the path to achieving their dreams and becoming productive citizens. Our featured books for this experience are ScareCited on the First Day of School and Ninja Nate. Join us for awesome story time and activities that will help your young dreamers love reading and reinforce how to manage their emotions.
The Read to Dream Experience brings families together to explore how books help children imagine, reflect, and dream. Created for children from birth to age 10, each session includes interactive storytelling, guided discussion, and creative activities that connect reading to personal goals and ideas.
In partnership with The Young Dreamers’ Bookstore, the program centers children’s voices and supports families in building reader identity, imagination, and aspiration. The selected books feature protagonists of African descent from around the world, offering representation and a global perspective.
