Mavuno Festival & Exhibition: A Celebration of Local BIPOC Artists
Sweetwater Center for the Arts is thrilled to announce that the anticipated Mavuno Festival will take place on September 20-21, 2024. The festival kicks off with an opening reception on the evening of Friday, September 20 from 5 to 8 PM in the Community Room at Sweetwater Center for the Arts. The celebration continues on Saturday, September 21 from Noon to 6 PM as the celebration of African American art and culture moves to nearby Riverfront Park, located at 300 Chadwick.
