Learning to Love Creepy Crawlies
For K12 Educators: The presenter will begin the workshop with information about approaching and investigating insects and other small creatures safely and fearlessly, and not passing on fears to children, even if one feels averse to handling such creatures. The presenter will lead the participants through a series of hands-on art experiences that can be used to teach about the structure of creepy crawlies, their life cycles, and the environments in which they live.
