Three Rivers Beer Week 🍻

The 40+ breweries that now dot Allegheny County’s unique landscape continue to add to the rich history of Pittsburgh beer. Three Rivers Beer Week will be a celebration of our vibrant beer scene…and the brewers, workers and supporters who make it possible. 

Old Allegheny County Jail Museum 👨‍⚖️🏰

Oct 3 | Old Allegheny County Jail, Downtown
A Pittsburgh History & Landmarks Foundation docent is on hand to tell you the story of the place. Completed in 1886 to the designs of Boston architect H. H. Richardson and in use until July 27, 1995, the former Allegheny County Jail was renovated between 1999 and 2001 to house the Family Division of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas.

Idaspe 👨🧑

Oct 7-16 | Byham Theater, Downtown
Idaspe follows two children from the post-war Middle East who came to Naples as refugees. They are separated in an underworld where organized crime is more welcoming than ‘legitimate’ business, and grown to adulthood, the siblings become powerful bosses of two opposing clans. 

Live From France, an Evening with Pierre Bensusan 🎸🎹

If World Music means the fusion of traditional, contemporary, jazz, classical and pop music, then Bensusan is one of the most eloquent World Music musicians of our time. A pianist in his beginnings then self-taught on the guitar, the originality of his style makes him one of today’s greatest guitarists and composers for the instrument

Festival of Combustion 🎆🎇

The Festival of Combustion features hands-on activities for adults and children alike with demonstrations and experiences throughout the entire day and evening. Celebrate the industrial arts and American crafts at the Carrie Blast Furnaces and showcase the creativity and innovation our region’s artists, makers, and builders.

The 40th Annual Latin American festival is a celebration of Latin American culture featuring food vendors, musicians, performers, arts and crafts, and more! 

Pittsburgh Monster Pumpkin Festival 🎃

Oct 15-16 | 3 Crossings, Strip District
Mother nature’s most vivacious, outrageous, humongous fruits…in one stupendous sea of orange. The City’s most spellbinding spectacle of colorfully colossal cucurbits, and signature “family fall festival.” 

Punkin Chunkin 🎃

Oct 22 | Hartwood Acres Amphitheater
Join Allegheny County Parks and SHARP Robotics from the Sarah Heinz House as they team up to launch pumpkins across the amphitheater field with a full-size trebuchet! Stay for an afternoon of family fun with free activities and a variety of local food vendors.


Clyde’s 🥪🚛

Various Dates through Oct 16 | City Theatre, South Side
Under the watchful eye of the titular character, Clyde’s follows the kitchen staff of a truck stop in a small PA town. Comprised of formerly incarcerated individuals, the staff come together to find fulfillment both in their lives and in creating the perfect sandwich. 

Asian Lantern Festival 🏮🐉

Through Oct 30, Thursday-Sunday | Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium
The Asian Lantern Festival returns this fall with an all-new display, featuring guest favorites from days past: dinosaurs! Explore the Zoo at night among giant luminous handcrafted sculptures, including extinct and endangered animals.

Sept 23 - Nov 5 (weekends) | Galleria at Pittsburgh Mills
Home to one of the Scariest Haunted Houses in PA, Scarehouse opens this weekend! Make your way through three separate haunts, Demon Hour, Oblivion and End of Days if you dare. Andy Warhol’s Social Network examines the intersections between Warhol’s longest running project, Interview magazine; his ventures in television with his original series Fashion, Warhol TV, and Warhol’s Fifteen Minutes; and his portrait commissions of the 1970s and 1980s. 

58th Carnegie International 🖼👨🏻‍🎨
